Ferrari continues to test its LMH (Le Mans Hypercar) prototype, which will compete next year in the WEC and, for the first time in 50 years, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. After completing the first test at Fiorano early last month, Ferrari’s LMH is back in action at Imola for another test session, showing its headlights for the first time.

Although camouflaged, we get to see its headlights for the first time positioned in the lower part of the hood, near the sides of the central air intake, complemented by horizontal thin light strips at the front reminiscent of the Daytona SP3’s style.

Apart from that, the exterior reveals a low-slung hypercar with curvaceous front/rear fenders, a trio of fins supporting the large rear spoiler and a massive splitter.

There aren't many details regarding the powertrain, but it's rumored to be a V6 and hybrid setup similar to what's found in the 296 GTB.

The development of the new LMH continues, Ferrari is still collecting as much data as possible which is carefully analyzed by technicians, in collaboration with AF Corse, the team that will manage Ferrari’s LMH for the 2023 season of the FIA World Endurance Championship. AF Corse worked closely with Ferrari since 2006, and currently competes in the WEC’s GT classes, using Ferrari race cars.

We can’t wait to see this LMH in action for the first time on March 2023 when the first WEC race begins!
