Say hello to the 812 Competizione?

The long-awaited hardcore Ferrari 812 was finally unveiled on Wednesday and fills the gap in the automaker’s lineup previously bereft of a hardcore successor to the 599 GTO and F12 TDF. However, one of the long kept secrets of the new hardcore is its name!

The new hardcore 812 has 830 horsepower, 6.5-litre V12 engine and gets an increase in RPM from 8,500 to over 9500. The most interesting features are the powertrain associated with Ferrari’s 7.0 version Slip Slide Control system to ensure fully performance and driving pleasure, and the adoption of an independent four wheel steering to improve agility and steering responsiveness. Ferrari Centro Stile worked closely with engineers to optimize the downforce levels and improve the overall airflow while integrating perfectly new elements in the aggressive shapes like new front air intakes, side vents, rear diffuser, exhaust configuration, and a rear window replaced by an aluminium panel which now houses vortex generators.

Has Ferrari accidentally revealed the name of the new hardcore 812? It definitely looks like it, as Ferrari’s plan to keep it a secret did not seem to work out! (Unless the completely fooled us with a well prepared plan).

Youtuber Varryx adjusted the brightness in the official interior photo of the car launched on Wednesday. This revealed the shape of the logo in front of the passenger seat which says the name of the car, just like every Ferrari!
